your ultimate cowichan lake resource

Something scenic

Cowichan Lake is 28k from Duncan town and an hours drive to Victoria (the capital city of British Columbia) Regardless, some folk say we live in the sticks ...

Snipe.ca is a new website at the beginning of its development cycle. We are hoping it will become a useful resource, for local business and for those who live and work in the region of Cowichan Lake (not forgetting our summer visitors) We have in fact created a mobile website, especially for those who visit us during the summer months (for those campers and off road people who have no Internet access) - who have a cell phone or PDA.

Please visit cowichanlake.mobi on your mobile device, if you are mobile here and looking for info. We are featured in the .mobi showcase (in the travel section) here

Site Specifics

The links in the inner right table are to external web sites, that give a good overview of our local communities (and much useful information) Links in the extreme right table (yet to be developed) will be links to local lake resources (merchants, trades folk etc) Please contact me if you would like your business (or resort) to be featured here.

More thought provoking detail to follow.........

If you would like to help feed the hungry (and possibly improve your vocabulary) you might want to check out our featured site Free Rice

If you are hungry yourself, the Village Market is THE place to shop for groceries. They renovated their store in 2005 and now have a large selection of goods.
